i learned a valuable life lesson last weekend boys/girls. I made the mistake of giving a ride to stranger who had just gotten out of jail and needed a ride home. long story short; he robbed me and used me to buy crack without my knowledge and then smoked it in front of me and then ran away <(0_0)>. on the way home i got i rear ended a chevy-blazer destroying the glass around my right headlight (not the light itself, my turn signal and headlight still work). I did some minor damage to her bumper. I get out of my car and run up to her window and say "i am so fucking sorry!". The first thing she says is "i hope you have insurance!". Her name is Latonia and we decide to drive away and just file a report later even though i suggest her just getting an estimate and billing me, mind you i am wearing a suit & tie and giving her all my info (including proof of insurance which she couldn't show me). Today i went in to file a report with her. I did it while on break from work so again i was in a suit waiting in the hot police lobby for 30 minutes. When Latonia finally arrives she has no proof of insurance and no proof of registration and the cop suggests we just settle it ourselves without getting police/insurance involved because he would have to write her a 400 dolla ticket and her ins rates would jump up. She tried to look thru her car for her proof but to no avail. She made a smart decision and decided to just get a quote and call me. I have an uncle who owns a body shop and will fact check her estimate. She tells me as we're walking to our cars that she just bought her insurance a few days ago. What a country.
